Grey FLX is the project of Logan Powles, a multi-instrumentalist and producer from Swansea, Wales. Active in the UK grassroots music scene since 2021, Logan performs alongside his live band consisting of Chris, Dylan and Rory.

Growing up, Logan spent much of his childhood in hospital, an experience that shaped both his outlook and creative identity. He discovered the guitar at 13 and describes it as finding a language he never knew he could speak.

His songwriting is deeply personal and emotionally charged, serving as an outlet through which he processes and reflects on those formative experiences. The result is a sound that resists easy categorisation, balancing delicate vulnerability with explosive intensity. Drawing from a broad range of influences, Grey FLX occupies a space that feels both genre-defying and undeniably authentic.

From mid 2021 to Late 2024, Logan became a prominent figure within the Swansea music scene. Through a consistent run of releases and live performances, Grey FLX cultivated a dedicated and growing audience across Wales. Before relocating to England for university, the band represented their hometown at the Swansea Arena House Party in support of MVT, helping raise £10,000 for grassroots music venues across the UK.
 

Now aged 20 and based in Bristol, Logan and the band have quickly begun establishing themselves within the city's thriving music community. Since the start of 2026, they have already made an impact with performances including a sold-out fundraiser for Palestinian aid at The Exchange and headlining The Croft’s 25th anniversary party. Following a summer tour, Logan is preparing to release Grey FLX's debut EP in September. In the meantime, the band's dynamic live show continues to build momentum through frequent performances across the UK.
